Konjac Sponges
Handcrafted from a single ingredient in Asia.
About Konjac Sponges
Konjac sponges originate from the mountainous regions of Asia, where the konjac plant (Amorphophallus konjac) has been cultivated for over 1,500 years — first as a food source, later as a cornerstone of Japanese skincare. Our sponges are still produced in these same regions, where the craft and raw material remain rooted in their original source.
Made from a single ingredient with no synthetic binders, preservatives, or additives, konjac sponges are completely natural and biodegradable. When wet, they become exceptionally gentle — effective at removing impurities and lightly exfoliating without abrasion, and naturally alkaline to help restore the skin's pH balance. At end of life, the sponge composts fully, leaving no microplastic residue.
We offer two formats: a smaller facial sponge for precise, delicate cleansing, and a larger body sponge for full skin treatment. For spa and hospitality buyers, both represent a compact, story-led amenity with real credentials — a single-ingredient product with documented heritage, genuine skin benefits, and no environmental compromise.
