Aleppo Soap

Handcrafted from olive oil and laurel oil, a timeless tradition

About Aleppo Soap

Originating in Aleppo, Syria, and produced continuously for over 3,000 years, Aleppo soap is widely considered the world's oldest commercially made soap. It is made from just four ingredients: olive oil, laurel berry oil, lye, and water. The bars are cold-processed, then aged for a minimum of 12 months in stone cellars, allowing the outer layer to oxidise to a characteristic dark brown while the interior remains a deep, rich olive green.

Free from synthetic detergents, artificial preservatives, colourants, and fragrances, Aleppo soap is naturally pH-balanced and deeply moisturising. Its unique composition makes it suitable for all skin types - including eczema-prone, acne-prone, and hypersensitive skin, and it can be used on the face, body, and hair. The soap biodegrades completely and leaves no harmful residue. For spa and hospitality buyers, it offers an authentic, premium amenity with real credentials - not a greenwashed formulation.
